CECO offers an excellent material for both lubricated and non-lubricated service with our Resilon-T® B450 material. This grade is our preferred choice for instrument air and PET (bottle blowing) applications. B450 has improved thermal conductivity and enhanced lubricity over traditional filled ptfe materials that fail prematurely in severe service.
B450 has enhanced physical properties over conventional filled ptfe grades, including improved wear resistance and reduced creep. This material also has the ability to be used as a stretch on rider band.
B450 operates in conditions that are optimal below 325°F maximum and 800 psi in non-lubricated applications. When operating in a lubricated environment, the discharge pressure may be increased to 1500 psi.
