CECO created Resilon-T® X540 material for both non-lubricated and lubricated applications. X540 is a proprietary blend of polymers produced for reciprocating compressors operating in wet and dry environments. X540 excels in:
- Natural gas from < 200 ppm to > 1100 ppm moisture non-lube.
- Temperatures from ambient to 350°F.
- Pressures up to 4300 psi.
- Pressure ratio up to 2.8.
- Provides 2-7 times lower wear rates than competitive materials
- Available as solid or split rider band designs
- Operates from bone dry to wet gas conditions
- Available for piston rings, rider bands and pressure packing
